Looking for new ideas on what to do with your drone?
Here are some common drone moves you can enjoy to improve your drone cinematography:
Stationary objects:
The lift-off: aim down the camera and fly up very fast to reveal the area then you can pan the camera up to reveal the horizon: https://youtu.be/1hz-lkx4o6c?t=36s
Do a 360 around an object while the object is in the middle of the shot and in focus: https://youtu.be/1hz-lkx4o6c
The great reveal: move backwards at a 45 Degree angle: https://youtu.be/1hz-lkx4o6c
Reveal Low: fly down when the horizon is relatively boring and reveal something interesting next to you https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=1m12s
Fly Over: fly over a POI and using the gimbal make sure the POI is always at the center until you pass the POI https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s
Reverse heads up: back + gimbel going up https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s
Crane Up: fly up + gimbel down https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s
Look up: fly forward/up + gimbal up https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=1m57s
Side Straf: fly to the right or left while spinning the drone slowly left or right https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=6m4s
Sky shot: make sure to enable the Gimbal to look up (by default it's off) - the point to the sky with the gimbal and slowly look down https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=6m21s
Lift-off : drone lifting off from the ground while gimbal is looking straight down - better on top of of leaves or near trees: https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=6m33s
Top-down pass: drone going right or left while high above POI and gimbal looking straight down https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=6m47s
Winding up/down: fly up or down while spinning the drone and gimbal looking straight down: https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=7m3s
Strafe Yaw: drone moves left (or right) + yaw right (or right) https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=8m29s
Dolly: fly low sideways (consider looking 30 degrees up with the gimbal) https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=527
Tripod: drone stays put and only gimbal moves very slowly - Yaw left/right + gimbal down : https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=539
Ascend Yaw: drone up + yaw left/right + gimbal down https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=566
Moving Objects

Side follow: follow a moving object from the side https://youtu.be/1hz-lkx4o6c?t=2m17s
Over bodies of water:
Pondskip: fly low and forward + gimbal up https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s?t=2m57s
